Ninja Shield ("we", "our", "the App") is a notification privacy application for Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

• Notification Access: The App reads notification content solely to hide sensitive information on your device. Notification data is processed locally and is never transmitted to any server.
• Installed App List: We access your installed apps list to let you choose which apps to protect. This data stays on your device.
• Biometric Data: Biometric authentication (fingerprint/face) is handled entirely by your device's secure hardware. We do not access or store biometric data.
• Camera & Photos: If you enable Intruder Detection, the front camera captures a photo after 3 failed biometric attempts. Photos are AES-256 encrypted and stored only on your device. They are never uploaded.
• Location Data: If Intruder Detection is enabled and location permission is granted, approximate GPS coordinates are logged alongside intruder captures. This data is stored locally in encrypted form only.
• Usage Statistics: The App accesses package usage stats solely to identify apps with notification access. No usage data is collected or shared.
• App Preferences: Settings such as protected apps, schedules, and feature toggles are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences.

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements (banner, interstitial, native, and app open ads). Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not share any personal data with advertisers beyond what Google AdMob collects automatically.

• All sensitive data (intruder photos, notification content, location logs) is processed and stored exclusively on your device.
• Intruder capture photos are encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
• We do not operate any servers or cloud storage. No data leaves your device except standard ad network requests by Google AdMob.

• Notification Listener: To read and hide notification content.
• System Alert Window: To display biometric authentication overlay when revealing hidden notifications.
• Package Usage Stats: To identify apps with notification access.
• Query All Packages: To list installed apps for protection selection.
• Biometric / USE_BIOMETRIC: To authenticate the device owner before revealing notification content.
• Camera: For intruder selfie capture on failed authentication (opt-in only).
• Location (Fine & Coarse): To log location of intruder attempts (opt-in only).
• Foreground Service (Camera): To capture intruder photos reliably in the background.
• Post Notifications: To display service notifications as required by Android.

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete intruder captures from within the App. Uninstalling the App removes all stored data. We retain no data on any server.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
